Centered Parents™: Helping Families Thrive in Sports
Centered Parents is a sport psychology program designed to help parents support their child’s growth in both sport and life.
Developed by Dr. Mike, Centered Parents integrates modern sport psychology principles, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), into a structured, practical, easy to apply system that helps parents create an emotional climate that fosters confidence, resilience, and healthy motivation without pressure, conflict or burnout.

Individual Coaching & Support
Over the course of the program, you’ll meet with Dr. Mike for six individual sessions.
These sessions focus on:
You’re not left to “figure it out” alone – support and accountability are built in.
Some parents choose to continue with additional individual sessions after completing the program. Ongoing coaching is available upon request.
Group Programs & Workshops
Centered Parents is also available in group format for teams, schools, and organizations seeking to support parents at a broader level.
Group programs are customized to meet the needs of each organization and may be delivered as single workshops or multi-session series.
Getting Started
Centered Parents begins with a brief phone consultation with Dr. Mike to understand your goals and determine the best fit for the program.
From there, you will complete an intake with Dr. Mike, and receive access to program materials, guided meditations, and your individualized session plan.
The process is structured, supportive, and designed to help you build lasting mental skills for you and your child.
